Cape Town, the second largest city in South Africa, only narrowly avoided completely running out of water this summer by severely rationing water throughout the city.
Above all, its important to protect the water we do have! We can limit the chemicals that we put into water. A huge use of water in the everyday household in North America is doing the dishes! Limiting chemical usage in your load of dirty dishes can help keep water cleaner.
